Holiday Shipping Update
**** PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER! ****
We cannot guarantee any order's arrival date, due to shipping carrier delays beyond our control. I do however recommend ordering anything needed for gifts no later than 11/29. If you are under time constraints, please upgrade your shipping to USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail Express.
The processing time listed on each individual item shows the time it takes for us to hand make each piece. Please note the processing time and take a look at our shipping section before selecting your shipping method-especially for international orders! We make each item by hand, so orders take longer to arrive than mass production. In fairness to all of our customers, we are not able to bypass the processing time or ship any orders early.
A few notes about your order:
Our Free Shipping Over $50 offer includes free domestic USPS First Class Shipping. This method is uninsured, and it typically takes 5-7 business days to arrive once your order is complete. Both Shopify and USPS/UPS will provide estimated delivery dates, but these are not always accurate.
While USPS is the most affordable way to ship and receive packages, they have been facing unprecedented delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These are changes that we as a business (and as small shoppers ourselves) are learning to work with. We ask that you plan for possible delays with your package.
When shopping for gifts, please keep in mind that we are not able to guarantee an arrival date. We ask that you order gifts with processing times and shipping speeds in mind. If you are under time constraints (we get it, we’ve all been there!) or live in an area where package theft is common, we recommend selecting an upgraded shipping method. USPS Priority Mail takes 1-3 business days to deliver once shipped, and USPS Priority Mail Express takes 1-2 business days to arrive once shipped.
Please see our FAQ section for international orders and other shipping policies.
Our Back Story
My name is Cheri Chesson. I am the owner of Kacelynns Crochet Closet. Aside from crocheting, I was a medical insurance and coding specialist for many years along with a web design specialist! (Which I still do aside from crochet!)
I am a mommy to 2 amazing children. Jace turns 16 this year and Kacelynn will turn 4. Most of you don’t know this but Kacelynn is adopted! An opportunity arose for me to take in a 6 week old baby and Jace and I (along with our entire family) fell in love with her. Suffering from PCOS and multiple miscarriages made me depressed and I honestly never felt like I’d ever have more children so Kacelynn coming in to our lives was truly a blessing to us all! I renamed my shop last year after her (and to put crochet in the title of course since it wasn’t there before)
Jace is the behind the scene master. He helps me get packages organized, puts labels and packing slips in bags, and keeping Kacelynn entertained so I wan work! In the Bayou Attire Store, he will be part owner with me!
I am truly blessed and thank each and every one of you for being a part of our new store!! xoxoCheri, Jace, and Kacelynn
